Happy Monday and welcome to a new week! Some of you may remember when I photographed Ashley, one half of FREE HONEY and that I was so excited to collaborate with my first blogger. Hoping to do more with others but travel, work and in general, life got in the way. So when the opportunity came up for me to photograph Kosi over at ONE CREATES ONESELF, I jumped on it! In a way, I feel as though I'm picking up on a lost project. Feeling accomplished. We've met up a few times so far {and note the links I've posted to the left in my sidebar}. It's always a quick fun, give or take, hour and I'm getting more comfortable with directing people. Something I'm not good at, at all.

wine and zen time

Easy Night Out :: Dinner at Franchia, Vegan Café {so delish and yes, even that chocolate pudding is vegan}. Then walking around the Bryant Park Holiday Market. The feeling of the Holiday spirit is already in the air! Peppermint Mochas, Nutella Crepes and Fresh Kettle Corn, oh my! Sometimes all you need is a catch up dinner with a bottle of wine and some great giggling moments with a friend that you don’t get to see enough.

And one thing I will admit to liking about the change of weather, is that it’s time to bring out the boots! Current transition weather wearing boots :: Rachel by Rachel Roy. omgosh, so adore her shoes. My wardrobe contains a lot of Rachel Roy stuff now that I think about it.

delightfully dazzling ~ fabulous FNO

I was doing this

{aka going to see The Bouncing Souls show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg}

on Sunday night with many drinks to follow so forgive me that Monday morning I did not have my brain right to catch up on all that I did for FNO out. So now... what I did do on Friday night {and now that it’s Tuesday, I feel refreshed enough to think straight} was Gawker.com FNO scavenger hunt! And it was so much fun! Also I got honorable mention on their website {they don’t give name credit and the image quality isn’t that great but still exciting} – check the link here for photos #4 & #6 AND check out a few of my other snapshots below! It was a Fab Fashion’s night out {expect for one moment of being called regular people, which was amusing}. I kid you not, it was the funniest thing, and I quote random dude, “wristband?” did not wait for an answer. “you can sit with the regular people” pointing behind us, away from the velvet rope. Good thing I have a sense of humor so with tip in hand we walked to the bar and asked for our free vodka sodas. thankyouverymuch.

been there - done that - messed around

Last night the roomie and I went to Zac Posen’s {for Target} Shop Around the Clock party! It was surprisingly so.much.fun. We got to see The Like perform – who were awesome - and we got to shop the collection more than a week before it hits stores. I'm such a sucker for Target/Designer collaborations. It was a little annoying as some girls were practically hoarding a few items and therefore not leaving many sizes to choose from… but either way I lucked out with three pieces. Cannot wait to show them off! This is when I love NYC the most – all the wonderful things we get to do {especially after midnight}.

I want you all over me

My current obsession is this belt and I want to get one. Matthew Williamson is finally releasing his line at H&M tomorrow. This over a pencil skirt or the flowy summer dresses will punk up my look just enough to not be the hippie in the room. Love it.
