questions, questions, too many questions

What does the key unlock? I didn’t get to check off as many Key to the City items as I wanted but it was a random summer so at least we got to fit one more in before Labor Day! And we got to venture out to Coney Island on a school night! yeah baby! Beer, hotdogs, cheese fries and carnival wonders! Oh yeah!

Cheers to beers, cheese fries {note the hotdog wasn’t for me} and riding the wonder wheel!

I felt like I was wearing patchouli in a room full of Chanel

First, where did the week go? Second, I really don’t care because I’m just so darn happy it’s Friday! I had a few posts planned for this week but just couldn’t find the time so I’ll leave you with more Key to the City stuff! And wishes for a happy weekend!

@ The Whitney: Madison & East 75th St – random box by the coat check

{the next snapshots are of the delish dinner we shared - so yum!}

Every Friday during the summer at The Whitney they host Whitney Live {The Darlings & Bear Hands played} downstairs with drinks and free art viewing. {hint: it’s pay what you wish on Fridays!} Then we capped the night off with wine and pizza at Serafina’s Fabulous Pizza. It was delish! Eager to try a new restaurant with each key opening; let’s see how it goes… I only have a few more weeks to check off the list!

Tonight off to see OAR – can’t wait! Then with a bit of luck just a relaxing weekend after that. Are you as excited for the weekend as I am?

I saw Inception over the weekend – if you haven’t seen it yet – jump on the bandwagon. It was awesome.
Happy Monday all!

wino forever

Happy Monday! {starting the week upbeat} I'm sure you know by now that I  L O V E wine, wine bars and anything that has to do with wine… On Friday, after {finally} getting the Key to the City {more on that soon!} I stopped by this place on 39th between 5th and 6th, La Barrique; it was quiet, cute and simple. Ending my Friday with light bites and a glass of wine was exactly what I needed!

I’m going back to this spot later this week for a friend’s Birthday so better snapshots to come soon! And they have live Jazz during the week – can’t wait. What are you looking forward to this week?
{oh, and of course Eclipse is coming out on Wednesday and yes, I really do already have tickets}
