are they laughing at or with me ~ why can't we just say what we mean

I realized this week that I haven’t shared any pictures from my street photography class and I only have one more class left! Here are a few scanned in that are focused on my final assignment. I’ve learned A LOT {as I have never taken a real photo class before}. Some days were challenging and a challenge to myself was to shoot all the way with film. As I’ve said before I do prefer film but for a 10 week course of developing weekly, it can get costly. I feel that I’ve gained a new eye in my work; I feel and see it when I look around the streets. What do you think of these shots? More to come soon…

Have a great weekend ~ Happy Friday!

thanks for stopping by! your photos are great - they have this grainy, tangible, vintage feel to them (or I get that vibe).
It's like the camera took the photos 30 years ago, you came across the film, and are developing it now! (except of course that's not how it really goes)

In my next home (dream on sista) I am going to have a darkroom. Nevermind that I haven't practiced photography since high school, but 8 years later I can still smell those chemicals from the darkroom and it makes me feel all creative and nostalgic. Lovely pics!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I really appreciate it :-)

to Bailey: I dream of having a darkroom in my house - that'd def be my dream one day.

To Steph: The B&W one was the one that inspired this project and then the color ones came after :-) so your eye is seeing something!
