Today's music is inspired by my upcoming trip -- I leave tonight to Vegas!! Not that this song actually goes along with going to Vegas and having a good time but it is about leaving Vegas and leaving that life behind that you should have walked away from a long time ago (at least that's what I get from it). And just because I love this song. We all need at little Sheryl Crow in our lives sometimes. Happy Music Day!!

Tuesday Tea Party ~ Life is a chance. Love is infinity. Grace is reality.

When I read the last line printed on my tea bag today - I couldn't picture what it meant as "Grace is reality." So I looked up the definition on line and the free online dictionary states...

Grace - seemingly effortless beauty or charm of movement, form or proportion.

Grace - A characteristic or quality pleasing for its charm or refinement.

Then I started thinking... when was the last time I met someone who was full of grace? Well, I didn't actually meet him but Alexander Wang came to mind. I saw him and watched him interact with people at Fashion Night Out in Bergdorf's and he was so pleasant and humble and the kind of person you felt that you just had to be around even when he had a crowd of people surrounding him to take pictures and just to shake his hand.

Going back to "Grace is reality" makes me realize that someone may not only be graceful (i.e. the first thing that came to mind was a ballerina) in their movements or interactions but that one can have a graceful soul as well, and that is reality. Who is the person that is most full of grace in your life?

This weekend I finally decided to take up the photo challenge that PinkAppleCore found and suggested… but I didn’t really do that well for my first photo challenge… 26 - at times somewhat obscure - things aren’t that easy to come by surprisingly and I did them over a weekend not just a day. four days flew by like a drunk friday night as the summer drew to an end

I feel like I am playing catch up... finally! So... one of the recent busy weekends was a plane down to Miami for Labor Day. I was there for my friend's Bachelorette Party (part 1) and her bridal shower. I really don't know how we fit so much into one weekend but we did. Here is just a small view of a little bit of the weekend. It was some great times to be had and lots of memories to keep!

The New Addition

The baby from the belly shots is here!! He is simply the cutest thing and all we do is look at him. Can't wait until he gets a little bigger so we can play with him!

I bought a Modern English album at the HK flea market last Saturday and I must say when all is so overwhelming - I just need to listen to this song and hearing it over the record player just makes it that much better. It's always good to go back to the classics -well classics for me at least. Enjoy the music of the day!

Tuesday Tea Party ~ keep up

Everything right now is overwhelming, I sit, to relax, in my kitchen and have a cup of tea and the tea bag reads, "keep up". Go figure.

Where do I begin? I feel like my weeks are all rolled into one day and everything is just a continuous non-stop ongoing of life right now. Work has been busy. I’ve been traveling. I’ve been scrapbooking almost religiously again. My friend had her baby, Sebastian Michael and I couldn’t be happier. But I don’t sleep much and my dreaming at night is relentless lately. My magazines are in a pile and I’m beginning to think I might start reading them in the month of rather than when received the month before. Life has been busy. I’m obsessing over a couple things right now – Drew Barrymore’s outlook on life in her 30’s (see a little here) since I will soon be approaching that chapter of my life and this new Organic Strawberry Lip Balm by Mission Skincare – it reminds me of the sugared kool-aid I loved as a kid (before adding water). So great. And one last thing that would make my day totally rad right now – a couple glasses of Prosecco.

Been traveling and staying busy in the office… a thought and a couple of pictures above that I found on polyvore.com are pretty close to my outlook right now and also check out this movie. I found this music on a blog (sorry I forgot to note which blog but thank you!) last week and fell in love with this girl - Melody Gardot - her voice is so soothing and I love her lyrics. Then you read a little about her and she seems even more amazing. Can't believe I didn't know about her before... this is perfect Sunday music when you do nothing but stay in bed all day.
